Here's a short guide I wrote some friends. Let me know if it works out for you guys. What this does: Widescreen Fix makes your FoV adjustable, I use setting 90. Any higher and it will cause some issues like dialogue cameras in walls. When in game press * on the num pad to start the FoV.
You have to do this every time you play. The FXAA Injector makes your game look better by sharpening and adjusting lighting and colors.

You will probably need to raise the lighting in the in-game settings because preset 2 is a bit dark in caves. This program will always run when you start Amalur. To see the difference (if you tweak the settings in it) hit your Pause key and it will toggle on or off. The Batch file simply runs the WideScreenFixer program (if you had it set to Amalur last it won't change) and then runs Amalur from Steam.

Go through each tab and click the Toggle button so you can toggle it on or off to see differences in game (Pause key). In the first tab I'd recommend turning the Quality tab all the way up, although this will make it run more like a newer game so depends on your hardware.
